[New York, NY] My company, Moxie Entertainment (multifaceted entertainment company involved in recording, music & book publishing, podcasting, social media, consulting, etc) seeks unpaid technical interns for Spring and Summer of 2010. We’ll arrange for college credit whenever possible, but you do not have to be a college student to apply.
More importantly, Moxie offers a mentor relationship to help you achieve YOUR goals. I’ve been in the music business for over 20 years, and I know a couple of things 😉 In exchange for your time, I’m more than happy to give you an hour each week to coach you toward your own personal success.
Do you have an entertainment business goal? Let me help you reach it!
Positions we’re seeking to fill:

We often host and/or attend performance and networking events, so interns may also be asked to attend to help out with the door, or sell merch. You’re also welcome to network and meet others in the industry while you’re there.
There’s a weekly staff meeting in Washington Heights (NYC) each week, although much of this work can be done from your home. Staff meetings can also be held via conference call when possible, so non-New Yorkers are also invited to apply.
To apply for any of these positions, please send an email with “Intern” in the subject line to moxiemaven64{at}gmail[com]. Please send your resume, along with a brief statement of the goal that you’d like me to help you reach during your internship (This internship will last approximately 3 to 6 months, so keep it realistic).
If we call you for an interview, you will also be required to present one verifiable letter of recommendation from a teacher or other person familiar with your work.
The Moxie Team loves go-getters, so extra points go to applicants who tweet, blog, podcast, etc.
We’re a fun, energetic, hard-working, and, not to forget, Equal Opportunity Employer. We look forward to working with you!
